Spending time with our horses without an agenda is a valuable way of building your relationship and providing some social enrichment.
Sometimes we are so used to doing something for or with our horses that sitting still can be difficult. If you find it hard, try for 5 minutes at first.
If our horses are not used to just spending time in your company that isn’t work or a routine it might take them a little time to come and hang out, but when they do it is lovely to just be.
